Because it’s almost graduation, work load has already declined and I’d consider it almost summer vacation. We still had to come to school a few times in a week for some tasks though.
A few days ago I found myself free the whole day — I didn’t have to go to school, no meeting, nothing — so I decided to spend the afternoon at the mall to have my hair trimmed at Bench Fix. FYI, I am trying to grow my pixie cut already. The decision to have my hair trimmed was just to keep the back part clean while it’s on its awkward growing stage. My stylist, however, trimmed the whole thing and I feel like I’m back to where I started with my pixie.
The last time I had my hair trimmed was more than a month ago. I specifically told my stylist then to trim just the back to keep it from looking like a mullet and he did just that so it grew to be a little more like a bob. I wanted the same trim this time, as the back part was already growing. My stylist however seemed to decide on his own that he trimmed the rest of my hair! It may not seem like a lot of difference, but for growing out pixies, a nanometer of hair is significant. The sad part is, I loved how it turned out! Now I’m having second thoughts on growing my hair out. I feel like I was back to the first time I had my pixie — I fell in love once more. Just when I thought I want my long curly locks back, this happened. And I’m thinking of keeping my hair short again. Urgh. The struggles of growing out this hair. Cutting my hair this short is addicting.
So after my hair appointment, I went to grab a bite and found this place called The Sandwich Guy. From its name, you can tell they have all kinds of sandwiches in their menu.
I find their sandwiches a bit overpriced, this one is actually one of the less expensive ones. The serving size is just right, though I expected more chicken. My rating: 4/5 for the taste, 2/5 for the price. For a sandwhich I find it quite pricey.
I craved for sweets and found myself over at Gonuts Donuts. I got their Cookie Butter Donut for Php20 (they were on sale for their 10th anniversary; each donut is sold at Php20).
So that’s how I spent a lazy day — be all kikay and busog. Til next!
