Okay so this is kind of a ‘late post’ if you may (goodness I hate that phrase, it’s not like you’re supposed to post everything online real time, right?). We’re always very open to trying new places to eat, and after that Basix experience at Dusit Thani, we tried another hotel buffet this time at The Heritage Hotel Manila, called Riviera Cafe.
It was my first time at The Heritage, the lobby isn’t like Manila Hotel or something, but I find it really cozy and romantic in a way.
We really enjoyed the dinner at Riviera Cafe. There were definitely a lot more choices than Basix in Dusit, and although I didn’t particularly enjoyed the Chinese selection and the pizza, all the others were actually very good. The ambience was a little more casual than your usual hotel dining but I liked it that way. We stayed for the whole time the dinner buffet was open (takaw much, haha) because we really enjoyed the food. The servers were actually very attentive too, maybe because the place wasn’t packed though it was a Sunday.
